This includes women-centric films, music and movies by women artists and more.
The rich collection of real-life stories includes movies like I, Tonya, Julie & Julia, Erin Brockovich, The Woman King, The Farewell, La Vie En Rose, Coco Avant Chanel which are all based on true events, struggles and accomplishments of exceptional women. The collection recently added to the in-flight entertainment content is aimed at underscoring the strength and conviction that a woman projects in adverse situations.
Bringing alive the love for Indian cinema and recognising some of the most versatile Indian female artists, Air India furthers the in-flight entertainment with the addition of ‘Screen Queens’. A melange of spectacular stories showcasing the brilliance of several visionary directors and talented artists, Screen Queens is an ode to the very idea of ‘Women inspiring Women’. Movies like Rudaali, Sam Bahadur, Luck By Chance, Gully Boy, Do Aur Do Pyaar, Salaam Venky, and Island City witnessed unprecedented performances both on screen and off screen. These stories are either narrated or written by some of the most talented women in Indian cinema.
For the music enthusiasts looking up to the female artists who command dominance in the male-oriented industry, there is a collection of songs by Madonna, Alicia Keys, Neha Kakkar, Shreya Ghoshal and Kavita Krishnamurthy added to the compilation of classics, contemporary, and pop music.
