Expanding Our Global Network

We are constantly evolving, and this has led to an increase in our fleet with the acquisition of 470 aircraft from Airbus and Boeing. Additionally, the focus on improving connectivity through travel to and from the airport has been enhanced with interline agreements.

  • Our new international stations include Milan, Vienna, Copenhagen, London Gatwick, Amsterdam, Phuket, Ho Chi Minh, Zurich, and Kuala Lumpur.
  • In Europe, a new partnership with WorldTicket enables our guests to combine Air India flights to and from Frankfurt with more than 5,600 stations in Germany served by the Deutsche Bahn railway system and enjoy the same baggage allowance as our flights.
  • BLR-LGW: We have launched a nonstop flight between Bangalore and London Gatwick amidst the growing demand from our travellers.
  • DEL-LHR: Our flagship aircraft A350 will take to the skies connecting Delhi to London Heathrow. This twice-daily flight promises an exquisite onboard experiences for travellers and will mark the long-haul international debut of Air India’s flagship product.

Rewarding Frequent Flyers

Our Maharaja Club is the only airline programme in India that offers its members access to the global network connectivity provided by Star Alliance through its 25 other international member airlines.

In continuation of our steps towards achieving world-class customer service standards and top-class value propositions, we have extended the validity of Maharaja Points, tier status, and member status for a period of 24 months, subject to travelling with Air India once every 24 months. This step reaffirms our stand towards prioritising a loyal customer base of 3.3 million flyers and more.

With our recently revamped website members can now easily use the Miles Calculator to track accrual rates on each route. With Maharaja Club, members have access to over 1 lakh redemption seats every month on Air India and Star Alliance partner airlines. Members can fly Air India or any other 25 global Star Alliance member airlines and earn points every time they travel.
