Chairman's Message on Ratan Tata's Demise:

Dear Tata Colleagues,

With a heavy heart, I share news that our beloved Chairman Emeritus, Mr. Ratan Tata, passed away after a brief period of illness.

The loss is immeasurable. To me, he was a mentor, guide and friend. To us all, he was a patriot and humanist. His leadership and lasting contributions have shaped not only the Tata Group, but also the very fabric of our nation. Mr Ratan Tata’s philanthropic work has meaningfully transformed Indian society—whether in healthcare, rural development, sustainability or education. His love for animals shone in his work for animal rights and welfare. 

Mr. Tata was a rare leader who steered by example—ambitious, even audacious, in vision when it came to our business, our communities, our nation and the next generation. All this, with genuine humility in every individual interaction. He will be missed, and he will continue to inspire us all.
