Free Wi-Fi is available everywhere at the airport. You simply need to log in to the Schiphol Airport network with your laptop or smart device.

The entire terminal is a non-smoking designated area. The only place where smoking is permitted is on Jan Dellaertplein, the square outside Schiphol Plaza just before security check-in.
