US Transit Requirements for Students Studying in Canada
If you’re a student who studies in Canada and is transiting through the United States of America, ensure that you have all your documents in order. Without your valid documents, you cannot travel through the US.
Transit rules
- A student permit is not a valid travel document.
- Students holding a Canadian visa or PR card cannot transit through the US without a valid US visa.
- Students holding a Canadian visa or PR card can only transit through the US with a valid US visa.
