Your Vistara flights stay the same: Your Vistara in-flight experience will remain unchanged on its fleet. You can easily identify these flights by their new code AI 2XXX. For example, UK 955, operating from Delhi to Mumbai, will transition to AI 2955.

Booking
 

Vistara will operate its last flight on 11 November 2024. After 12 November 2024, all its operations will be transferred to and managed by Air India. Due to this, your Vistara flight will be operated by Air India, and your booking will be transferred from Vistara to Air India's reservation system from the backend.

You will receive notifications about any relevant changes to your booking, including your updated ticket, with the revised details well in advance. Additionally, all staff members at customer touchpoints will undergo thorough training to offer seamless assistance.

Starting 12 November 2024, the Vistara website will be unavailable, and you can head to the Air India website or app to continue with your booking.

Vistara will operate its last flight on 11 November 2024 after which all its operations will be transferred to and managed by Air India. After 12 November 2024, you can head to the Air India website or app to continue with your booking.

Starting 12th November 2024, Vistara aircraft will be operated by Air India. The flight will have a special 4-digit Air India code beginning with the digit “2”. For example, UK 955, operating from Delhi to Mumbai, will transition to AI 2955.

There may be a change in your terminal after the booking has been transferred from Vistara to Air India. However, this will be at the sole discretion of the airline. Be assured, all changes to your booking, including terminal changes, will be communicated to you.

We will strive to retain your class of booking. However, any changes to your booking will be communicated promptly and well in advance.

Vistara will operate its last flight on 11 November 2024. After 12 November 2024, all Vistara’s operations will be transferred to and managed by Air India. So, you can head to the Air India website or app to continue with your booking.

If you already have a booking with Vistara, your booking will seamlessly transition from Vistara to Air India's reservation system from the backend. We assure you that your booking will be secure with Air India, and there will be no need to reissue your ticket. The revised ticket will be shared with you with the updated details well in advance.

You can continue to book the same in-flight experience on the Vistara fleet, operated by Air India fleet which can be identified by the flight number AI2XXX.  

After 12 November 2024, Vistara’s customer engagement channels will be unavailable. Instead, you can use Air India’s customer engagement channels.

Our guests continue to be our top priority through this merger. Air India will strive to honour all special assistance requests as per your booking. Although we may not offer some of the assistance provided by Vistara, Air India's current special assistance services is committed to ensuring that our guests with special needs have a comfortable and hassle-free travel experience. For more details, you can reach out to Air India’s customer support executive, and they will assist you.

Starting 12 November 2024, you can redeem the Vistara Purple Ticket Card on Air India website for booking Air India flights and selective ancillary products.

Yes, after 12 November 2024, your existing Club Vistara account will be migrated to Air India’s Maharaja Club. Here is what will happen:

Account
All your Club Vistara account details will be transferred to Air India’s Maharaja Club.

Points
The available Club Vistara Points and Tier Points in your Club Vistara account will be transferred to the Maharaja Club in a 1:1 ratio. This means that for every Club Vistara Point you have, you will receive an equal number of Maharaja Points.

These points will remain valid for at least one year from the date of migration, even if they are due to expire sooner.

Tier
Your Tier Status will be determined by the cumulative points you have earned on both Maharaja Club and Club Vistara programmes. You will be able to maintain your existing Club Vistara Tier Status by being assigned the equivalent status in Maharaja Club. This means that Club Vistara Base, Silver, Gold, or Platinum members will be assigned the equivalent Red Tier, Silver Tier, Gold Tier, or Platinum in the Maharaja Club respectively. You may also be upgraded to a higher Tier if you qualify based on the cumulative points of both the programmes. After 12 November 2024, the Maharaja Club policies will be applicable.

Vouchers
All valid, unutilised, One-Class Upgrade vouchers and Complimentary ticket vouchers will be transferred to Maharaja Club with the existing validity. The usage will be governed by Maharaja Club programme rules.

Co-brand Cards
We are diligently restructuring and enhancing the co-brand cards as part of the merger. Please stay tuned on Air India’s website for further announcements. While this process may take some time, members holding existing co-brand cards will continue to enjoy current benefits as per the current card programme’s and existing programme's Terms and Conditions until 31 March 2026.

After 12 November 2024, you can raise your query using Air India’s Customer Support Portal.

The Maharaja Club programme is designed to be more beneficial and rewarding than the current Club Vistara programme. Migrating Club Vistara members get access to an updated range of features, benefits, and partner offers, ensuring a seamless flying experience like never before. If you are not a Club Vistara member but would like to join Air India’s Maharaja Club, click here, and access an updated range of features, benefits, and partner brands, that ensure seamless loyalty benefits like never before.

A transition process is in place for existing Club Vistara members to join the Maharaja Club. You would have received an email seeking consent to join the Maharaja Club. The email also includes an option for you to opt out of the programme.

If you do not opt-out within 7 days from the date of receiving the email, the migration of your Club Vistara details will be initiated. This will be done automatically and once completed, your existing Club Vistara account will be migrated to Air India’s Maharaja Club after 12 November 2024. Starting 12 November 2024, Maharaja Club policies will apply.

If you opted out, there's no way to reverse your decision. However, you can join Air India’s Maharaja Club and explore the world of unlimited benefits and perks.

Your Points will be transferred from Club Vistara to Air India’s Maharaja Club, after 12 November 2024, in a 1:1 ratio, allowing you to book with Air India.

The available Club Vistara Points and Tier Points in your Club Vistara account will be transferred to the Maharaja Club in 1:1 ratio. The Points will remain valid for one year from the date of migration, even if they are due to expire sooner.

Yes, you can retro claim your missing points for travel up to 6 months after your journey. Please note that you will earn the same number of points as you would in Club Vistara.

As part of the merger, Vistara’s existing Partnerships and Codeshare Agreements will not be carried forward. However, the merger brings to you Air India’s 24 Star Alliance Partner Airlines, and Global Booking Partners, offering you expanded network, larger fleet, and more destinations.

Non-Airline Partners
After 12 November 2024, you will have access to all of Air India’s Non-Airline Partners.
