  1. Application form duly filled and signed by the applicant.
  2. Two recent photos in the size of 35X45 mm with white background 80% face.
  3. Original passport - valid for at least three months with minimum 2 blank pages.
    • All previous passports and proof of loss passport (if any)
    • The passport should be issued less than 10 years ago.
  4. Copies of all previous Schengen visas with stamps, valid USA and UK visas If any.
  5. Original covering letter on company letterhead signed and stamped with purpose of travel, designation, passport details and date of travel.
  6. Company Registration Certificate/ Memorandum of articles.
  7. For self-employed citizens - Certificate of Incorporation.
  8. Original Invitation letter from invitee company letterhead signed and stamped with purpose of travel, passport details, designation, invitee name and date of travel.
    • LOI needs to be sent via email by the inviting company to commerciale.mumbai@esteri.it before processing submission at VAC centre. (original or coloured copy)
    • Copy of the Passport or Identity card of the person in Italy who is signing the invitation letter.
    • Copy of the Visura Camerale of the inviting Company (Registration with the local Chamber of commerce) dated not less than six months prior to the intended travel.

  10. Financial documents:
    • Last 3 months' salary slips.
    • Income Tax Acknowledgement for last three years.
    • Last six-month bank statements with stamp and signature on it.
  11. Travel insurance - medical coverage minimum Euro 30,000. Minimum 10 days insurance is mandatory from the travel date in Schengen.
  12. Confirmed hotel voucher and airline return tickets.

  12. For sponsors: Proof of sponsorship and a letter from the sponsor, financial documents as well as copy of the sponsor’s photo ID, (e.g. passport, Aadhaar card or driver’s license)
  13. In case of retired - Pension statements for last 3 months or proof of regular income generated by ownership of property or business.

  • Parental Authorization (If Minor is travelling alone)
