Types of Turkey Visa

Turkey offers various types of visas depending on the purpose of your visit. Each type has its own specific documentation and eligibility criteria.

Turkey Business Visa

  1. Visa Application form filled manually by blue or black ink in block letters.
    • Form must attach with one biometric photo (see article 3) and the applicant's signature. The application must be accurate and comprehensive.
  2. Original Passport must be valid for at least 6 months upon arrival with at least two full blank pages available in it.
    • For passports which were not issued in the jurisdiction areas of the Consulate General, local address proof must be submitted. (Only registered leave and license agreement copy or registered agreement copy)
    • All previous passport and proof of loss passport with FIR copy (if any)
  3. Two Biometric Photos with a white background in 2.5inch x 2.5inch size.
  4. Cover and registration letter cover letter by the employer/company of the applicant mentioning the designation, purpose, expenses and duration of stay (Registration letter from relevant chamber of commerce. (Copy must be attested by Mantralaya or MEA and notarized.)
  5. Invitation letter including the name/passport no.of the invitees, the designation and duration/purpose of stay (information on the coverage of the business must also be included); permanent address and contact no. of the inviting person/company (with company tax number, letterhead, signature, seal/stamp) with a pledge for covering expenses of the trip and for taking responsibility.
  6. Financial proof:
    • Last 3 months’ salary slips with letterhead, signature, seal/stamp.
    • Last six months’ personal bank statement (original or copies attested by bank with minimum one lakh balance per person)
    • Last three years IT returns.
    • Aadhar card and PAN card.
  7. In case elf employee -Company registration documents. Original notary and Mantralaya/MEA attestation needs to be done for each applicant.
  8. Hotel reservation with contact number and full address.
  9. Flight itinerary.
  10. Travel insurance - medical coverage minimum Euro 30,000. Policy will be provided at the time of submission in Türkiye Visa Application Canters.

Turkey Tourist Visa

  1. Visa Application form filled manually by blue or black ink in block letters.
    • Form must attach with one biometric photo (see article 3) and the applicant's signature/ legal guardian in case minors.
    • The application must be accurate and comprehensive.
  2. Original Passport must be valid for at least six months upon arrival with at least 2 full blank pages available in it.
    • For passports which were not issued in the jurisdiction areas of the Consulate General, local address proof must be submitted. (Only registered leave and license agreement copy or registered agreement copy)
    • All previous passport and proof of loss passport with FIR copy (if any)
  3. Biometric Photos with a white background in 2.5inch x 2.5inch size.
  4. Covering letter by applicant mentioning the designation, purpose, expenses and duration of stay.
  5. Leave letter/ NOC from company.
  6. In case elf employee -Company registration documents. Original notary and Mantralaya/MEA attestation needs to be done for each applicant.
  7. Hotel reservation with contact number and full address.
  8. Flight itinerary.
  9. Minors need consent letter from both parents in all cases (even though minor is travelling with both parents). The consent NOC must be on stamp paper with photos of parents and applicant and notarized.
  10. If married, Marriage Certificate of the Couple issued by the marriage registrar /Affidavit required attested by Notary Public
  11. Travel insurance - medical coverage minimum Euro 30,000. Policy will be provided at the time of submission in Türkiye Visa Application Canters.
  12. Financial proof:
    • Last 3 months’ salary slips with letterhead, signature, seal/stamp.
    • Last six months’ personal bank statement (original or copies attested by bank) with minimum one lakh balance per person.
    • Last three months IT returns.
    • If retired – personal bank statement with minimum one lakh balance per person.
    • Aadhar card and PAN card of travellers. 

Turkey e-Visa Tourist Visa

  1. Front and back colour scan copies of new & old passports.
    • Holding a valid passport with two blank pages and a validity of more than 6 months.
  2. Two passport size photos with white background 80% face.
  3. Valid visa or residency permit from the USA, UK, Schengen countries or Ireland.
  4. Air tickets and Hotel voucher. (Optional).

Visa-on-arrival in Turkey
